Hello Craft Friends!
My name is Dana and I have a easy project share today! I'm using Clear Scraps Purses Chip Dividers 3 pack Click here
Aren't they the cutest? I've been wanting to create some for awhile now. I decided to go with a Paris theme. These are a great way to use up all your leftover scraps and embellishments! I'll be using two different Carta Bella collections "En Vogue" and "Metropolitan Girl" to decorate mine.
I chose several coordinating papers from both collections. Trace around each shape with a pencil. You'll need to cut two pieces of paper to cover both sides of your Dividers card. I recommend using Beacon glue to adhere your papers to your chipboard purse Divider. I also like to add Distress Ink Gathered Twigs around the edges of my purse Dividers. We will follow these steps for each of the 3 purse chip Dividers.
Purse #1: I applied Folkart White Wicker acrylic paint onto the handle of my purse. Let dry. Then repeat on the other side. Now glue your papers to both sides. Using an x-acto knife I trimmed away any excess paper. Then using my Distress tool, I smoothed any rough edges. Then applied Distress Ink along all the edges. Here's how mine looks so far:
Side 1: I took the handbags ephemera sentiment and with foam dots adhered in the center of my chipboard purse. I fussycut acouple Purses from scrap paper and adhered on each side with foam dots I added acouple sticker sentiments! Here's a photo:
Backside of Card 1: I cut a cities sentiment border and glued towards the bottom. I fussycut acouple more handbags and adhered in scattered fashion, one using foam dots on the back. I added a "Paris" sticker. See photo:
Card 2# I covered both sides with peach/hearts paper. Then glued onto my chipboard purse. Trim, Distress and Ink as we did previously. On the handle I applied some Celestial Copper ink on both sides. Let dry. I took some Prima Magnolia flower trim and cut off 2 pieces. I glued one flower on each side towards the top center. Than glued a technique pearl gem over top. I cut out part of a border strip and with foam dots adhered at the bottom edge. Here's a photo:
Backside of Card #2: I took a Paris ephemera piece and glued in the center! See photo:
Card #3: I covered both sides with black effial tower paper. Taking some crystal gems, i adhered over the clasp at the top, on both sides. I cut out a sentiment "Oh la la " from a scrap paper, inked along the edges and glued at the top at an angle. I cut a border strip of fashion ladies, applied foam tape on the backside and adhered at the bottom. Then added a pink hanger sticker! See photo:
Backside of card #3: I fussycut 2 pasties from scrap paper and adhered with foam dots on the right side. Added this baguettes sticker! Here's a photo:
