Hello Friends! It's Tiffany and I am here with an easy, yet "wow" album. It is the Chipboard Friends Album . This album is great for when you don't take a lot of pictures and it's great for when you take too many pictures. You can easily add accordion pages, flips, flaps, and even a waterfall. For thicker albums, all you have to do is add bigger rings. Today, I have used one inch rings. I added a few matching ribbons for interest and texture. Be careful not too add too many ribbon samples, or your book will be hard to flip. My album is from my friend and I went to a convention in March. This album was perfect for the amount of pictures we took together! Here is how completed the album:
First, I covered the album with a retired paper collection. I picked this collection because it is my friend's favorite color. I decided to place the paper collections so the letters were ombre. I picked the floral for the front and the papers as the background papers.
Then I took a black marker and traced the letters. The paper collection I picked is a little busy and I wanted the letters to stand out. Then I took some ink and ink around the edges; just to soften the look of the marker.
Next, I used a label maker to add our names and a quote. The labels are hidden by the letters “FR”.
Now you add your pictures. I printed my pictures on my 2 x 3 printer. I backed them with some gold paper from my stash.
Once I was done with the inside, I added the cutest tiny flowers to the front and my book was almost complete.
Finally, I added 1-inch binder rings for the binding. I used some matching ribbon to add interest and texture.
