World Traveler Album

Attention world travelers! Are you ready for your next unforgettable adventure? Look no further! Introducing this 5×7 chipboard album to capture every moment, journal your remarkable journey, and craft a cherished keepsake of your trip. Using the 'Places We Go' paper line by Mintay and the 5×7 chipboard tab album, I've crafted this journal/mini album complete with pockets, perfect for storing tags for journaling or using as photomats.

To begin, I traced each base page, carefully cut and trimmed them, and then delicately inked the edges using brown Stazon ink. With precision, I adhered each page and adorned them with exquisite die-cut pieces from the collection, charming flowers, and inspiring quotes from Tim Holtz.

For the front cover, I opted for a striking base page featuring brick print. To add dimension, I cut a half circle from the blue shiplap paper, carefully inked it, and securely glued it in place. Then, I embellished the cover using meticulously chosen die cuts from the collection, complemented by delicate flowers. The result? A captivating introduction to the adventure that awaits within.

For the backside of the front cover, I began by covering the chipboard piece. Then, I took a printed paper featuring buildings and tore it diagonally for a rustic touch. Carefully, I inked the edges and glued only the sides and bottom to create a charming pocket. Inside, I nestled some photo/journaling cards from the collection, ensuring each one adds a personal touch to the journey captured within.

On the front side of the second tab, I adorned a floral base page with a serene blue photo mat. Adding depth and charm, I embellished it with carefully selected die cuts and a floral accent.

Turning to the back side of the second tab, I opted for a serene blue shiplap paper as the base. Placing a piece of brick paper atop it created the perfect photo mat. To add an interactive element, I affixed a small piece of floral paper at the bottom, inked the sides and bottom to fashion a pocket. Within this pocket, I nestled a collection of small tags, inviting moments of personal reflection and journaling. The finishing touches included a meticulously chosen die-cut piece and a delicate floral accent, completing the page with a flourish of charm and functionality.

On the front side of the third tab, I incorporated a charming side pocket, meticulously fussy cut from a vibrant floral paper. The sunny yellow base page radiates warmth, offering a delightful welcome within the journal. Within the pocket, I nestled a collection of photo mats and tags, ready to capture cherished moments and musings from the journey. Completing the page is an inspiring quote, adding a touch of wisdom and reflection to the vibrant scene.

Creating a pocket with depth and character, I layered a piece of brick paper, meticulously cutting the top portion in a gentle wave motion using an exacto knife. After carefully inking the edges, I secured the sides and bottom with glue, leaving the top open for functionality. Within this unique pocket, I tucked in an assortment of tags, ready to capture fleeting memories and thoughts. Adding a final touch of elegance, I adorned the pocket with carefully selected die-cut pieces and an inspiring quote, infusing the page with both beauty and purpose.

For the front side of the last tab, I chose a captivating blue floral paper to set the stage. Adding depth, I introduced a piece of blue shiplap paper as a photo mat, ensuring the focal point shines. Carefully fussy-cutting around a printed piece featuring buildings, I crafted a showcase for architectural beauty. To elevate the design, I selected complementary die cuts, each adding a touch of charm and sophistication to the page.

Completing the album on the backside of the final tab, I opted for a printed paper adorned with charming suitcases and delicate flowers, adding a whimsical touch to the overall design. To assemble the pages, I secured them together with two sturdy book rings, ensuring durability and ease of flipping through. Adding a final flourish, I artfully tied various ribbons around the rings, not just for practicality but to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the album, adding a delightful finishing touch to this exquisite keepsake.
