Greetings, fellow craft enthusiasts! I'm excited to present to you today this exquisite and romantic miniature album crafted with the Mixable Album and Roseland paper collection by Stamperia. With its enchanting pink and white hues, adorned with delicate flowers, charming birds, and butterflies this mini album is perfect for showcasing your cherished memories with that special someone.
To prepare the front cover acrylic piece, I first removed the protective film from the front side, ensuring a clear surface for decorating. I opted to leave the film on the back side until I was ready to decorate, safeguarding it from potential scratching or damage. Next, Iincorporated a clay frame as the centerpiece, embellished with a lovely array of flowers and butterflies. To impart a delicate touch, I sprinkled in some white art stones.
For the back of the front piece, I opted for a pink shiplap paper adorned with flowers for the backside of the acrylic piece, providing a charming base page visible from the front. I incorporated a photo mat and additional embellishments to finalize the design.
On the front side of the chipboard piece, I adorned it with pink printed paper and included a photo mat. I then enhanced the design with a variety of ephemera pieces, flowers, and additional chipboard elements. On the back, I chose pink lace paper for coverage. Following this, I cut a 3×7 piece of paper and tore it along the 7-inch line, inked it, and carefully glued the top, bottom, and sides to craft a pocket. Within this pocket, I inserted tags and photo cards. To finish, I adorned the piece with flowers and additional ephemera pieces.I enhanced the bottom of the page by incorporating brown lace, adorned with a delicate pink ribbon layered on top for an added touch of elegance.
After removing the film from the second acrylic piece, I affixed a 4×6 section of shiplap paper and adorned two of its corners with flowers and chipboard pieces for a decorative finish to the front side. An advantage of acrylic is its transparency, allowing you to use a single piece of paper for both sides. For the back side, I embellished with flowers, art stones, and chipboard elements to achieve a cohesive and polished appearance.
For the final chipboard piece, I aimed to create numerous opportunities for both photos and journaling. I incorporated a waterfall element, ensuring each page provides space for either photos or written memories. As for the base page, I meticulously cut an envelope using an exacto knife and tucked in some journaling or photo cards for added personalization.
To unify the album, I incorporated book rings and various ribbons and lace to both conceal the rings and infuse charm throughout the design. This final touch not only brings all the elements together but also adds a delightful aesthetic to the album, completing the look with a touch of elegance. Combining acrylic pieces with chipboard offers a versatile way to add depth and personality to your albums. The contrast between the transparency of acrylic and the sturdiness of chipboard creates a dynamic visual effect, enhancing the overall appeal of your creations. It's a fantastic way to elevate your album designs and make them truly unique!
