Strawberry Shaker Tag

Hey fellow creators! Jennifer here on the blog today, sharing this delightful strawberry shaker tag. These tags are ideal for embellishing gift bags, wrapped presents, gift card holders, or adding more decor. I used the strawberry shaker tag and papers from the Graphic 45 "Sunshine on My Mind" collection to craft this summer project.

First, I covered both sides of the tag with paper from the Sunshine on My Mind collection. I traced and cut the paper, using an X-Acto knife to tidy up the edges. Afterward, I applied black ink to edge the tag. Note: Remember to punch the hole at the top of the tag before gluing the paper to the backside of the tag.

Afterward, I applied Stickles (Shamrock and Fruit Punch) to coat the top and backside chipboard pieces of the strawberry shaker. I set them aside to dry while i started to build the shaker portion of the tag and add the shaker elements. For the shaker elements, I incorporated resin strawberries, pink and red flowers, as well as red, green, and pink pearls from Queen & Co. Additionally, I included various green and silver beads.

After adding the shaker elements, I carefully peeled off the protective layer from both sides of the acrylic pieces, making sure not to place it on any surface that could scratch it. I then glued one to the top layer of the strawberry on the front, and for the back acrylic piece, I attached it to the tag.

Finally, I adhered the top strawberry (the one with Stickles) onto the acrylic pieces (front and back). I embellished the tag with cheesecloth, die cuts, flowers, pearls, and colored and clear cabochons. To complete the tag, I added more cheesecloth and a pink ribbon for a finishing touch. I hope you feel inspired to create your own shaker tag for your creative projects. Thank you for checking it out!
