Hi everyone! Laura here with you today and it's time to get excited!  The NEW Clear Scraps release is HERE!!

How CUTE are these new Acrylic Memory Dex cards??!!  There are some adorable Memory Dex boxes that will coordinate too!  I'll post my version of the adorable Pick Up Truck, that coordinates, next month–so this is just a sneak of what's to come!

These are really fun to play with!  I used alcohol ink–the bottom and stem were pounced on with a felt applicator, and the pumpkins I brushed it on to give the pumpkin texture/look.

Here's the reverse side of the double pumpkins card.  The trick with the acrylic is to create the back to "match" the front–using the pattern on the back of the paper to match what you use on the front since it does show thru just a bit even with the alcohol ink on there.  Here's the front on the next card….

This card, the ink was just pounced all over in the orange and green.  I love the texture it gives and it's super simple to do!  I generally do several layers to get the pattern more intense.

This is the back side of the same card.  Again, just layering the paper and stickers with the other side of the card in mind.  The third card in this set is the adorable truck!

This one I brushed on the ink and then went back and brushed a bit of a darker/brownish color on top to give that "old pickup truck" vibe.  Some papers and stickers finished it off.

The other set available is the Memory Dex Chipboard Harvest set.

This version was painted with acrylic paint, the edges brushed with distress ink and then it was decorated up with stickers, ephemera, enamel dots and twine.  These new items are SO MUCH FUN!  And there are more too!  Keep an eye on the blog and the Clear Scraps site for all these new items and great inspiration!
