Hello, friends! Jennifer here with an exciting new product that I absolutely adore: shadow boxes! The possibilities with these are endless. For this project, I used a 6×6 shadow box to create a charming winter home decor piece.

To start, I laid out the shadow box pieces and gave the front and back of each one a crisp coat of white chalk paint. Next, I cut a 6×6 piece of enchanting blue winter paper to serve as the background. For a different twist, you could use unique papers for each of the four sections to create your own magical scene. While the paint dried, I punched out the phrases "Let it Snow" and "Warm and Cozy" from the embellishments and used paint pens to infuse them with various shades of blue.
Next, I punched out a snowflake and coated it with white chalk paint. While the paint was still fresh, I sprinkled on "Rock Candy" by Tim Holtz, giving the snowflake a mesmerizing, glittering finish.
I added a touch of magic by applying sparkle paste and "rock candy" to the base of the deer and bottle brushes, evoking a gentle snowfall. To enhance the wintery vibe, I tucked in a few different shades of blue beads, adding depth and dimension to the scene. I’m thrilled with how this little piece of home decor has come together! I can't wait to add it to my Christmas decorations. I hope it sparks some inspiration for you to create your own festive masterpiece!
