Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to share a fun project for fall!
Clear Scraps has so many fun, creative items, and one of my faves is their Shiplap Shapes! This project started with the Clear Scraps Rounded Tag Shiplap Shape Small This tag is the perfect size to use on a scrapbook page, or as a gift tag or even as the "card" for a gift! It would even look great on display as decor! I wanted to add something interesting to the background so a stencil seemed like the perfect option!
The Clear Scraps Mixer Stencils are great because you get two stencils in one! Here I used the 5×9 Plaids Stencil. It was easy to use distress ink and a soft brush to add this cool background! It makes a huge statement, so you don't need a lot of additional embellishment on the tag. I added in some strips of this pretty fall patterned paper and also a few stickers. Foam tape under a few of the stickers adds some additional dimension. If you'd like to see all the different Mixer stencils that Clear Scraps has to offer you can find them HERE. So many great options–make sure to check it out!
In addition to the stickers, the other embellishments here are the pumpkins and the word "pumpkin" which are made out of chipboard.
These are some of the chip pieces included in the brand NEW Clear Scraps Fall Embellishment Chipboard Punchout set! You get an entire set of smaller chip pieces that work great for all kinds of projects! They are a great embellishment to have in your stash to use any time and they come in several adorable sets too. Check out the "What's New" section HERE. These were painted with acrylic paint then layered and added to the tag. A few pieces of ribbon were the finishing touch on this tag. Gift giving ready!
Thanks for stopping by today!
