Thrills & Chills Spooky Divider Cards

Hi there Craft Friends!

Dana here! Halloween is just around the corner. So today I'm sharing some Clear Scraps Rounded Chip Dividers Click here I will decorating them with a Halloween theme using some papers and embellishments from Simple Stories Vintage Scary Stories collection. Clear Scraps also has Wood Boxes that you decorate for Halloween and store your Divider Cards inside. You can see all the Memory-Dex Divider Cards and Wood boxes available here Click here

To begin our project, I took several Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Spiced Marmalade, Seedless Preserves and Ground Expresso and with my ink dabber I applied my Distress Ink on the bottom edge of both sides. Repeat for all cards. See photos:

Next chose a variety of patterned papers to cover both sides of each Divider card. Trim away any excess paper using an x-acto knife. See photo:

Now we can start decorating each of our Divider Cards. This is my favorite part! I love to use a variety of embellishments when decorating my cards.

Card 1 Side 1: I applied a Skeleton brad embellishment on the right side. On the left, using foam dots I adhered a sentiment from the Bits and pieces pack. Then added a "EEK" sticker at the top! Here's a closeup look:

Card 1 backside: I cut out a Spook-o-gram card, from the 6×8 paper pad and I cut out a small journal card with the owl on it. See photo:

I applied an enamel dot over the hole at the top of my tag. Tucked my tag inside my pocket. On the front of my pocket, I adhered acouple foam star stickers, and Boo Brads on the left side. Here's a photo:

Card 2 Side 1: I covered the bottom edge with some bat washi tape. Taking a Bat's Wool journal bits piece, I adhered in the center using foam dots. I applied a bat sticker on the upper right corner and adhered a brad at the top of my Divider card. Here's a photo:

Card 2 Backside: Using foam tape, I adhered this  Bits and pieces Ghost on the right side and added a few enamel dots on the upper left corner. See photo:

I trimmed down the small tag so it would fit onto my Divider card. Then I glued at an angle and applied some enamel dots along the bottom on my tag. See my finished card:
