Hello, fellow crafters! It’s Jennifer here, and I’m thrilled to share today’s project with you. I had some delightful scrap paper left over from an album I created back in September, and I just couldn’t let it go to waste. So, I decided to use those remnants on the new stunning chipboard and acrylic dividers. I’m absolutely smitten with this unconventional pink hue—it adds such a fresh twist! Let’s dive into the fun!
To kick things off, I traced and cut out the perfect pieces of paper for each side. Using an exacto knife, I carefully shaped them and then smoothed the edges with a file for that polished finish. Next, I brought out some brown StazOn ink to add a lovely touch to the edges. Finally, I adorned each side with vibrant die cuts from the collection, ribbons and flowers, giving them a truly whimsical flair! I used stickles to trace around the snowflake to create a sprakle affect.
For the charming little chipboard holiday element, "Noel," I glued it onto some paper and then carefully cut around it with an exacto knife for precision. Next, I picked up the "HO HO" and gave it a lovely coat of brown Unicorn Spit stain for that rustic vibe. As for the mittens, I painted them with the same brown stain and added a layer of grit paste. While it was still wet, I sprinkled on some Rock Candy sparkles to create a delightful, glimmering effect!
For the acrylic piece, I meticulously selected the perfect double-sided paper, as I was only covering one side. I traced, cut, and smoothed the edges with an exacto knife to achieve a clean look. Then, I adorned it with the delightful "HO HO" chipboard embellishment and some charming die cuts from the collection. For a touch of winter magic, I used white alcohol ink on the snowflake and sprinkled on Rock Candy sparkles before it dried, creating a shimmering, frosty effect!
I hope you’re feeling inspired to create your own festive Christmas dex dividers! Thank you for stopping by and joining me on this crafting adventure. Happy creating! ~ Jennifer
