I used acrylic paints to start off with.

Before starting these, I first sealed them with clear Gesso.

I chose some paints to work with ,and other mediums to decorate the background ,and some embellishments and ribbons.

The Distress Rock Candy medium is going to hopefully give me an effect of some kind of frothy candy or like making a cake.

This is a lot of fun and the ideas are limitless .

I used different brushes and the fan brush gave me some heavy gold streaks I wanted for the background.

I found a fun Retro Collection that inspired these Memorydex cards.

I had sicker elements and a leaf dies set for some extra background ephemera.

I went about all of the embellishments the same way just different themes for each one.

The Rock Candy medium looks like sugar spilling over or like making Swiss Meringue Frosting.

I used hot glue and backed all of the stickers with cereal chipboard. I like the extra sturdiness.
It was so much fun creating these and I hope you have been inspired.
