Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi there!  Laura here today to share a pretty set of fall Memory-Dex cards!

These were created using the Clear Scraps Houses Chip Dividers.  They were painted in a base color (brown, orange and burgundy) and then brushed lightly in another color to give the idea of barnwood.  Each card was then decorated with scraps of patterned papers, stickers, ephemera and enamel dots.  I just love making these cute little cards!

On the back side, here I added more decoration–I was having so much fun making these cuties!  That's the beauty of these cards–they are so fun and creative to play with!

For the Rounded Tag Chip Divider set, they were created in a very similar way.

Here I added a mat to use for a picture or for some journaling.  The leaf, and the little aqua truck on one of the house cards is from the new embellishment chipboard punchouts.  These have a few different options that are a great match with the Memory-Dex–they are just the right size to add a little "flair" to these cards!

The back side had more spaces for pictures and journaling.  These are so fun and simple to make!  A bit of organza ribbon in the top of the tag is a perfect finishing touch!

They all nestle so snugly into the House Memory-Dex Box!  This kind of project makes a great addition to home decor, a great way to save precious memories, or even better, a stunning gift for someone special!

There are many options in the Clear Scraps Store of different types of boxes & cards, including acrylic options!  These boxes can really get your creative juices flowing, but you can always find a lot of ideas on the blog too if you need a little springboard to get you started.  Once you start, I think you'll be hooked like me!
