Hi there! It’s Judy here with my first Clear Scraps project for the month of December!
For this project I am working with the Medium Snowman Shiplap Shape.
I started by tracing the snowman onto the back of a piece of heavyweight white glitter card stock.
Then I traced the outline of the snowman’s hat onto black card stock.
The tracings were cut out.
I adhered the cut outs to the front of the snowman shiplap shape.
I die cut some pink circles for cheeks, 3 black circles for buttons, punched 2 black pieces for eyes and hand cut an orange nose.
Also pulled out some black twine for a mouth.
The twine was attached to the back of the pink cheek pieces with double sided tape.
Glue the eyes, nose and pink cheeks to the snowman’s face. I added some glue to the twine to form the mouth.
I die cut some snowflakes for embellishment.
A piece of washi tape was added as a band on the hat. A piece of ribbon was added as a scarf.
Since I plan on attaching my snowman to a wreath, I hot glued 2 pipe cleaners to the back.
I layered the die cut snowflakes and added snowflake gems.
The snowflakes were glued to the hat and scarf.
I pulled out a wreath which I had made previously.
Attach the snowman to the wreath by wrapping and twisting the pipe cleaners to the wreath backside.
Project is finished.
I did add the black circle die cuts to snowman’s body after I completed, as I realized I didn’t do so before! LOL!
