Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello all!  Laura here today to get you in the holiday spirit with a little decor inspiration!

This starts with the Clear Scraps Fence Shiplap Shape Medium.  The base of the fence was painted with white acrylic paint, and the cross pieces with black.  The cross pieces are then glued to the base piece after it's all dry.  The "Tis' the Season" border was added to the bottom cross piece and the ornament border was glued just under the cross piece at the top.  The journal squares were cut out and added with foam tape.  Hard to see in the pic, but they were outlined with glitter glue. 

Clear Scraps makes GREAT Chipboard Word Titles for projects like this (well, ANY project or scrapbook page really!).

This is the Christmas Chipboard Word Title painted with red acrylic paint, and then a layer of glitter glue added for some extra sparkle!  There are words for just about any project you'd like, so make sure to check out the selection in the Clear Scraps store HERE.

The Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Stocking along with the Christmas Chipboard Embellishment Punchout makes a such cute addition to this project!

The stocking is painted with red & white acrylic paint, and then sparkly glitter glue was used around the top of the stocking.  The holly punchout from the chipboard embellishment sheet was painted with red & green acrylic and also given a little sparkle magic from the glitter glue.  The back of the stocking was traced onto holly patterned paper, cut out, then glued to the back piece.  As the shaker layers were assembled, some holiday sequins were added before the acrylic layer.  And a reminder to remove BOTH layers of protective plastic from each side of the shaker!  The stocking was then "hung" from the top cross piece using glue and foam tape.
