Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello again it’s been a great start to the new year so far.

Today I am sharing a Mixed_Up Chipboard Mini Album.

This one is a bit different and extra fun with the cutouts and size variance of the pages.

The Star cut out is festive element.

I have the Clear_Scraps Crosses embellishment.

I used some mixed media elements to make everything more distressed.

Each page I treated similarly and used the same mediums in different ways.

The Chipboard _Key_Embellishment and Crosses_Embellishments are a 4” x6” chipboard piece that you can easily cut apart.

I used a stencil from my stash to paint some texture into my background.

The Mint Paint was the perfect color to enhance the Beautiful Cross.

The Chipboard_key was serendipitous.

I happened to still have this one and it was perfect for the Door background.

I was still in the Winter Mood when I searched my stash for a Paper collection to work with.

This Mini Album is a perfect December Daily or January Daily for this who love to journal.

Art Journaling is a wonderful way to spend some crafty time.

Mixed Media let’s you be free with creativity and just let go and have some Meditation while your in the Crafty Zone.

This Page I left it and just grabbed some Metallic Micah Distress Spray and it worked fabulously.

I really wanted this to be a contrast to the rest of the Album. It’s the center and adds a Beautiful Vintage feel to my Album.

I always enjoy working with these sprays.

A little goes a long way and,  gave me that pop of color as well as being the vintage colors I wanted.

Oh Boy this is so shiny and the Micah is intense.

This page is the Cover as well.

I wanted the Start to be The Star and I went for Gold and then I had some fun.

 

I’m a shabby vintage kind of Crafter and this paper let me go wild.

I tore paper for some pages and then seal everything with Decopage

I grabbed Diamond Dust and wanted to add some sparkle like  a winter icy motifs.

I also had a Mail theme in mind since Christmas is over.

You can keep 2024 memories in this super sweet Mini Album.

This could be a Beautiful Prayer Journal or Junk Journal.

These Mixed_ups_Mini_Albums are perfect for scrap busting what you have from previous Projects.

Just have fun and let your imagination be free.

I traced around a page and cut out with scissors and adhered it to the page.

I did both sides the same way.

I found flowers in my crafty stash perfect for the colors and theme.

Winter Vibes.

I live in the mountains and we have a lot of Deer and I couldn’t resist using this sweet image.

Fortuitous that it’s also a door image for the Key.

I sealed all of the Paper pages and images with Decopage.

It gives it that glossy sheen that I really loved for this Mini Album.

I added a Clip and tied sequins tule.

I love the bow on a clip for a shabby functional element.

The Last Page /Back Cover It meant to look like a painted mural.

I covered in Acrylic paint and ripped paper.

Decopaged to the background.

I found lace and cut it up for a  corner pocket.

Rubbed on some gold paint.

The Beautiful Angel makes me smile.

She’s so sweet and is praying along with us for a Wonderful and Peaceful 2025.
