Greetings, fellow crafters! Jennifer here, bringing you some festive inspiration with a charming 6×6 chipboard Christmas album. This little treasure is ideal for preserving your most cherished holiday memories, adding personal journaling, or even gifting to a loved one. I simply adore these albums—there’s something so magical about creating with them!
6×6 chipboard tab album
To start, I handpicked the perfect paper to serve as the foundation for each chipboard page. Once I had my design, I carefully traced, cut, and adhered the paper to the chipboard pieces. For a polished finish, I trimmed the edges with an X-Acto knife, ensuring everything was neat and smooth. To add a bit of warmth and depth, I gently inked the edges of each page with a rich brown ink pad, giving them a soft, vintage touch.
This tiny mini album is bursting with possibilities to showcase your most treasured photos. From charming pockets to tuck in journaling tags, to printed paper panels designed to frame your pictures, every page is an opportunity to get creative. Each tag, photo mat, and embellishment is thoughtfully inked with the same rich brown hue I used to edge the base pages, giving the whole album a cohesive, polished feel. To add an extra layer of dimension and character, I incorporated metal gears throughout the design, echoing the gear motifs in the paper and giving the album a dynamic, industrial flair.
To bring this album to life, I secured the pages with three sturdy 1-inch book rings. To tie everything together, I selected a ribbon that perfectly complemented the colors of the paper, adding a soft, textured finish around the rings. I didn’t stop there—beautiful ribbons also adorn the tags scattered throughout the book, adding just the right touch of elegance and whimsy to every page.
I absolutely adore the steampunk vibe that runs through this Christmas album—it's the perfect blend of vintage charm and industrial edge. I hope this project sparks some creativity and inspires you to craft your own mini album, full of personal touches and festive flair. Wishing you all a joyful and creative New Year ahead! Happy crafting!
~Jennifer
