Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to share more of the brand new just release items from Clear Scraps!
The Mason Jar Wooden Covers are such a great, quick project! They are sturdy since they are made from wood, and look cute as a mason jar topper! You can gift them for all occasions or keep them to use around the house! This set is a perfect example!
Easy to use those paper scraps you have from other projects and a few small stickers or ephemera pieces and you're done! The lid comes as several rings you just stack up and glue together. I usually glue it all, then paint rather than do each piece individually. I also leave the back as the plain wood.
You can see how this piece has a hole drilled so it's very easy to just pop the decorated circle right out and replace it with a different design! I like to keep the mason jar lid color something basic (black, white, gray) so it makes a good "frame" for any disc insert I make.
This set I used paper, traced the circle and then added a few little stickers and also used the NEW embellishment chipboard punchout TREATS (pet). The little dog house, the bone, and also the cute paw print and word "treats" are included in this set with several others.
These are such adorable sets! These are all painted with acrylic paint. You could easily paint the wooden lid instead of using paper. You could also use any kind of ink or other medium to create the chipboard pieces. These sets really give you a lot of creative options. You can also use them for cards, scrapbooks, etc. There are quite a few new sets too–make sure to check them out in the "What's New" section of the Clear Scraps store HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today!
