Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi there! It’s Judy here with a cute and easy home decor project created for Clear Scraps. 

For this project I am using the Medium Shiplap Fence and the new Bee Happy Chipboard Punchout Embellishments. 

I started by “white washing” the 3 fence pieces by applying some white acrylic paint with a sponge brush and wiping with a baby wipe.

To add a little color to the fence, I cut a piece of patterned card stock to apply to the center horizontally.

Apply glue to the center of the fence. Adhere the patterned card stock. 

Apply wood glue to the 2 narrow wood strips. Adhere to the fence covering the card stock edges.

I chose 3 of the chipboard pieces from the punch out embellishments.

Color is added to the chipboard with markers and acrylic paint. I also added a little glitter glue to the bee and flower.

I decided to die cut some flourishes to use with the chipboard pieces.

To finish I added the chipboard and die cuts.
