Love home decor

Hey there, fellow crafters! Jennifer here, bringing you a quick and charming Valentine’s Day décor project that’s as simple as it is beautiful. Today, we’re working with a round pallet, a wooden "love" word, and an array of lovely flowers in various shades of pink, red, and white. The result? A heartwarming wall hanging that will add the perfect touch to your Valentine’s home décor.

First, I gathered all my materials and began the fun part. I arranged the flowers into the shape of a heart to visualize where I wanted them and how I wanted the overall design to look before gluing them down. Once I was satisfied with the layout, I moved on to prepping the round pallet. I applied a mix of brown Unicorn Spit stain and white paint across the surface. Before the stain could fully dry, I used a damp paper towel to gently wipe over the brown, softening it to a lighter hue. Then, I added a light swipe of white chalk paint over the brown to give the pallet a subtle, layered effect.

While that dried, I worked on the "love" word. I mixed red and black paint to create a rich, deep red, and carefully painted the wooden word. To add some dimension, I used a foam brush to lightly distress the word with a hint of black paint, giving it that rustic, worn charm.

Next, I glued the paper flowers in the heart shape I had arranged earlier, securing each one in place to create the perfect focal point. Finally, I added the “love” word right in the center, and voilà! This simple yet stunning project is now ready to be the star of your Valentine’s décor.

I hope you enjoy creating this sweet piece as much as I did—it's sure to bring a warm, romantic touch to any home this Valentine’s season!
