Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday!
Misty @Mommyofkidz with you today sharing my "Jar of Hope" gift set.
I used the Mason Jar Wooden Covers paired with the Cozy Chipboard Punch Outs
to create the Inspiration Jar, and then I added the Mini Shaker Envelope
in the mix to create what would be a desk set gift for a teacher or anyone who needs a daily dose of inspiration!
Of course, I began by covering all of the disks and the wooden jar lid cover.
I used a papered by Brutus Monroe that is FULL of rainbows because the Rainbow
is the symbol of God's Promise to us. I am in LOVE with this paper collection!
As you can see, I simply traced around the wooden disks and adhered the paper to it, creating the base of my jar covers.
I wanted each disk to match, but be different, so I took time to decorate each one in its own unique way, making sure that the tiniest details were complete.
I carefully selected my elements from the Cozy Chipboard Punch Outs .
I used the Snowflake to represent FAITH.
I used the Sweater with a rainbow on it to represent HOPE.
and of course, I used the mittens (hands holding a heart) to represent LOVE.

Once the Inspiration Jar elements were complete, I found an unused package of tags in my stash, and I added twine and a different scripture to each one.
Actually, it was a mixture of quotes AND scriptures, but you can add anything you like to your jar!
Heck, I thought about going and buying a bag of skittles and giving this gift with a note saying…."TASTE THE RAINBOW". LOL! How fantastic would that be!!??
The final element was the Mini Shaker Envelope .
Doing the same thing I did with all the other elements, first covered each piece with the paper selection, then glued al the pieces together in the appropriate order. Finally, I added my Shaker Filler and topped it off with the acrylic cover. I used these little clips that I had to hold it together after adding the cover. DEFINITELY use clips to hold your shakers together as the adhesive dries or they WILL have gaps and your bits might fall out.
On the back of the envelope, I affixed a personal message, but also this quote. It was the perfect final piece to this gift set.
This was a random photo that I saved from Pinterest or somewhere a long time ago…but I came across it recently as I was cleaning out my phone. It was PERFECT…and I knew exactly who needed to hear this message. Do you know someone who needs an inspirational message? Is there someone in your life who could use a lift in spirits, and a reminder that they ARE LOVED? This is the perfect handmade gift to send to them. It is a Work of Heart.
Thank you for stopping by today! head over to the Clear Scraps Store to pick up the pieces to create your own Work of Heart!
