Hey friends! Jennifer here, and I’m so excited to share this adorable baby girl album I created for a coworker. I used the Heart Mixable Album as my base, along with the sweet "baby" and rocking horse wood shapes to add that perfect touch. To bring it all together, I dug through some leftover rose and soft pink papers, and even added a few whimsical fairies to give it that extra magical charm. Can’t wait to show you all the final result!
Baby & rocking horse wood shapes
First, I carefully sifted through the papers to select the perfect designs for each base page. Once I had my choices, I traced the album pieces, then cut them out and used an X-Acto knife to clean up the edges for that crisp, polished finish. To add a little extra depth, I inked the edges with some rich brown StazOn ink, giving everything a beautifully finished look.
While the glue was drying, I grabbed the "baby" wood shape and painted it pink, then picked up the rocking horse and gave it a warm brown finish. As those dried, I dove into decorating each page, making sure to add fun little pockets and tags for journaling those special milestones and capturing precious pictures. This mini album is packed with sweet details to preserve all the memories!
I added the "baby" wood shape to the front cover, along with some beautiful flowers to give it that perfect finishing touch. For a sweet surprise, I placed the rocking horse on the last page of the album, adding a little charm to the final spread. It really ties everything together beautifully!
To pull the album together, I used 1-inch book rings for a sturdy yet stylish binding. I then selected a variety of ribbons to wrap around the rings, adding a touch of texture and color. The details really make it stand out! I absolutely love how each page turned out! The soft, delicate colors, the whimsical fairies, and all the little details really come together to make this mini album the perfect gift to capture those unforgettable moments. It’s a beautiful keepsake that tells a story in the most charming way!
Thank you for stopping by and checkiing out this mini album. Happy crafting
~ Jennifer
