Clear Scraps Project Post

Let’s make a fun Notebook.

Today I am working with the Clear_Scraps Owl_Shaker.

I have a special place in my heart for whimsical Gothic style.

Or Halloween if you like.

Grab a notebook ,and Some Cardstock and ,let’s cover one and then Grab your favorite Clear_Scraps Shaker.

I started With an Inexpensive Notebook.

I cover the notebook with Double sided tape and attached the cardstock up to the Black Binding side.

Cut off the excess Cardstock around the notebook and then did the backside.

I painted and used Espresso Ink distressing the edges.

I used a Light-gold paint to paint the Owl _Shaker

I made a mix to compliment the Paper.

I went through my Crafty stash and found complimentary laces and a webbing lace.

I traced out the cardstock for the back piece of the Shaker.

I made lacy rosette’s and settled on a pale orange popcorn lace Rossette.

I had a lot of fun with this project.

Wet Glue is my favorite method to put the shakers together.

I used Purple and Hot Pink Micah Sprays to add a grungy effect and bring out the background paper and color.

I love the shine and sparkle.

I smooshed pieces of paper towel to cover the Acetate windows.

It worked great.

Matching flowers and Pops for a light and dark mix of whimsy.
