Strawberry Shaker Tag
Hello Crafty Friends – I am excited to share the Clear Scraps strawberry shaker tag with you today. I love making shaker embellishments and the Clear Scraps shaker elements are so fun. All the pieces are pre-cut for easy assembly. The high quality of the materials results in polished projects.
Supply List:
Clear Scraps Strawberry Shaker Tag
Lawn Fawn fruit dies
Lawn Fawn Gotta Have Gingham cardstock
Versamark Ink
Embossing powder
Distress Oxide Inks
Start with the Clear Scraps strawberry shaker tag.
Cut cardstock of choice in the same shape as the strawberry shaker tag. Adhere the cardstock to the front of the tag. Using liquid adhesive allows for a few seconds to move the cardstock into the exact desired position.
Heat emboss the strawberry frame element using Versamark Ink, embossing powder of choice, and a heat tool. Adhere the frame to the tag. Adhere another frame to the back of the tag for a clean look. Cut cardstock of choice in the same shape as the shaker portion and adhere to the back of the tag. Prepare the inside and rim of the shaker portion by rubbing with an anti-static powder tool. This step removes the static from the inside and rim of the shaker so the shaker mix moves freely around inside the shaker element. Peel off the protective sheet on both side of the acrylic insert and adhere to the back of the embossed frame. Add shaker mix and adhere back of acrylic to tag.
Prepare decorative elements. For my tag I used various fruit dies from Lawn Fawn. I die cut the fruit images from white cardstock and ink blended each piece with Distress Oxide Inks.
For a little extra bling, add a dangle with charms matching the theme of the tag. I used a silver chain and fruit charms.
Add twine so tag can be added to a gift bag or box. I love how this tag turned out! I look forward to attaching the tag to a special gift.
