Hey there are you Gorgeous Crafty People!!!! How are you all doing this beautiful May Morning?
Misty @Mommyofkidz here today to share a super fun card idea with y'all.
I was shopping in the Clear Scraps Store just loving everything that I saw… and then I came across this pack of Clothes Hangers Chipboard Embellishments….

At first I skipped right past them and didn't think twice. However, the more I browsed, the more I kept going back to them.
I wanted to use these cute little tings! I knew exactly what I wanted to hang on them, too. Every Pretty Hanger NEEDS a pretty dress!
I used an ivory colored acrylic paint and painted both hangers and allowed them to dry.
While they were drying, I found a couple of pieces of cardstock that I had pretty prints thought would look great on a material.
Originally I wanted to do a Pin-Up girl style dress, but I couldn't find just the right items in my stash, so I went with a more summery style dress.
The first one is red and white with several layers of ribbon for the skirt of the dress. I also tossed some dairy lace in there to keep it on the feminine side.
I drew the bodice of the dresses freehand, but you could probably find a template on the internet or even use real barbie clothes as an outline. For that matter, there are probably lots of paper doll clothes to be found out there on the web…all of these would be great to use as a template if you are not able to draw the bodice freehandedThen the second one was done in pink. Rather than using a lace for the top layer, I used a sheer ribbon. This allowed the layers underneath to peek through.
Once both cards were assembled, I finished them off with the sentiment, "Hey There, Gorgeous!"
This pair of cards would be perfect for any occasion! Simply insert a sentiment on the inside and voila…DONE!
I would love to see what you create with these hangers if you choose to do so! They really are so stinkin' cute!
Thank you all for stopping by!
Have a great rest of your day!
