Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today, sharing a project that will be a fun addition to your home decor for the upcoming holidays like Memorial Day and the 4th of July, or you can just share your patriotic spirit year round!
These projects are fun and easy when you use the Clear Scraps Shiplap Shapes! There are many different options in the Clear Scraps Store to shop! You can find them all HERE. Any holiday, any occasion and it's great to have a few of the basic shapes on hand (heart, circle, square, house–to name a few)–and they come in different sizes too! Having them in your craft stash, you can get creative anytime you feel the inspiration strike!
This home decor piece started with the Clear Scraps Star Shiplap Shape Medium painted with blue acrylic paint. While that started to dry–I grabbed some of the Clear Scraps Multi Stars Chipboard Embellishments.
These are fun to layer up, but they can be used individually as well. They are painted with red and white acrylic paint. Once they were dry, I used them to embellish along with some ephemera pieces and sentiments.
These chipboard pieces layer in with the ephemera pieces so well. Always a fave to have chipboard you can customize to your project! A few enamel dots here add a little "pop" and finishing touch. So cute to display for the holidays!
These Shiplap pieces make creating fun! Besides paint, you can use stencils, stamps, stains, or even just cover them with paper! I love an item that gives you so many creative options, don't you?
