Dream Believe Inspire Album/Journal

Hi there! It’s Judy here with my latest project created for Clear Scraps. This project can be used as an album or a journal.

I am using the Mixable Medley Album. This album measures 5 3/4 x 7 inches and includes 3 acrylic pages and 2 chipboard pages. These pages can be covered with papers, painted or inked.

I pulled a paper pad from my stash to use.

Choose papers to cover the chipboard pages.

Trace both sides of the chipboard pages on the backside of the papers and cut.

For the acrylic pages, I opted to paint the backside of each with a light pink acrylic paint. Remove the protective film on both sides of each page before starting.

Add gold acrylic paint to the outside edges of each page.

Adhere the patterned papers to the chipboard pages and paint edges with gold paint.

I decided to add extra pages to the album, so I traced each page, except the very back one, onto multiple pieces of white and light pink card stock.

It’s time to add some embellishments. There were cut apart pages included in the paper pad I’m using that will work great for this.

Choose and fussy cut embellishment pieces.

Add embellishments to both sides of the acrylic pages. I adhered them over the painted areas.

Do the same with the chipboard pages.

I did add pockets to the backside of the chipboard pages.

Some of the extra solid color pages were decorated with some stamping and heat embossing and washi tapes. These pages will work well for adding photos and/or journaling, as well as the ones I left blank.
