Some memories are just too special to tuck away in an album—and this one definitely deserves a place on my desk! Today I’m sharing a fun and easy project using the Clear Scraps Friends Desktop Frame.
Whether you're making it as a keepsake for yourself or gifting it to someone special, Clear Scraps frames provide limitless possibilities.
To start, I painted the "Friends" title at the top of the frame to really make it pop. I picked a color that coordinated with the patterned paper I planned to use, then covered the frame portion and both layers of the base stand with that coordinating paper. I love how it all ties together for a cohesive look.
Once my papers were adhered and dried, I positioned my photo exactly where I wanted it in the frame. A little double-sided tape on the back held it in place while I carefully glued the frame to the base. From there, it was all about playing with embellishments—adding just enough around the frame to accent the photo without covering any important parts. That’s always the trick, right?
Since I’m keeping this one for myself (I just love how it turned out!), I glued the frame securely into the base. But if you're planning to give one as a gift, another great option is to leave the frame unattached from the base. That makes it so much easier to wrap or ship!
Whether it's a birthday, a celebration, or just because, these desktop frames are such a meaningful way to display a favorite memory—and the Friends version is perfect for capturing those treasured moments with the people who mean the most.
We’d love to see how you’re using Clear Scraps Desktop Frames! Whether you're making a heartfelt gift or creating something just for you, be sure to share your finished projects with us on social media and tag @clearscraps. Let’s celebrate friendship and creativity together! 💛
