Shiplap Fence Embellishment
Hello Crafty Friends – I am excited to share the Clear Scraps small fence shiplap shape with you today. I enjoyed using the shiplap fence along with the swirl butterflies chipboard embellishment, and friends chipboard word title to create this fun decoration. Clear Scraps chipboard elements are easy to use. All the pieces are pre-cut for easy assembly. The shiplap fence is a great size to use as an embellishment or a décor piece.
Supply List:
Clear Scraps Fence Shiplap Shape Small
Clear Scraps Swirl Butterflies Chipboard Embellishment
Clear Scraps Friends Chipboard Word Title

Distress Oxide Ink – Salty Ocean
Distress Oxide Ink – Villainous Potion
Posca Paint Pens

Start with the small fence shiplap shape, swirl butterflies chipboard embellishment, and friends chipboard word title.
Add color to the shiplap fence using Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool. For a brown fence, use gathered twigs and walnut stain.
Add color to the butterflies using Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool. For a blue butterfly, use salty ocean. For a purple butterfly, use villainous potion. To add white detail to the butterflies, use a Posca paint pen in white. Add color to the friends word using a Posca paint pen in gold.
Adhere the butterflies and friends word to the shiplap fence using liquid adhesive.
Prepare additional decorative elements. I used a flower wood element and heart wood elements. Add color to the flower and hearts using Posca paint pens.
Adhere the flower and heart wood elements to the shiplap fence with liquid adhesive. For a little extra bling, add mini jewels to the shiplap fence.
I love how this décor piece turned out! I look forward to displaying this in my craft room.
