Clear Scraps–DIY Wood Tag Box–Winter Wonderland

Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to continue to share more of the NEW from Clear Scraps!

We're sharing some fun seasonal projects so you have plenty of time to order and create for your decor, or as gifts for family and friends! This is the new Clear Scraps DIY Wood Rounded Tag Box! Just like the memory-dex boxes, so simple to use your favorite glue to assemble and then paint, stain, etc. to make a box to match any theme you'd like! And make sure to check out the amazing tags too! I'll have a post on those later, so make sure to check back in! Here is the box without the tags. As a little tip: I like to paint the box FIRST, then assemble. Especially if you'd like to use different colors on different areas. I used blue and white acrylic to paint this box. I left the edges because I like the "edged" look it gives, but you could paint those too! After it's dry you can just start layering in. I used a paper border with scraps, and then used some stickers popped up with foam tape and a few enamel dots. Super simple! And the frame that is around the "winter wishes" sentiment is also a newbie! The Vintage Frames Chipboard Embellishments. This one was painted black. It's the perfect size for a label/sentiment on any project–would be great on scrapbook pages or a mini album as well!

Because a box like this will often set out on a table as decor, I like to do the back side as well! More paper layered up with stickers, enamel dots, and it's fun to see the ribbon peeking over from the tags! Make sure to leave a long tail on your ribbons–such a cute look!
