Ahoy, crafty friends! Jennifer here, and I’m beyond excited to share my newest creation: a Lighthouse Mini Album made from a scalloped album base — a tiny treasure chest for memories yet to be made. ⚓️✨
I’ve always been enchanted by lighthouses — steadfast beacons standing tall against the sea. Visiting them has long been a dream of mine, and this little album is my way of capturing that dream, one page at a time.
To start, I handpicked the perfect papers to set the tone for each page — coastal hues, gentle textures, and soft, weathered patterns. I traced each one with care, trimmed them to fit, then cleaned up the edges with an X-Acto knife for that crisp finish. I gave each edge a little inky love to add depth and a touch of vintage charm.
Though small in size, this album is bursting with heart. It’s filled with journaling spots, cozy pockets for photos or ephemera, and room to reflect on seaside adventures — real or imagined. 🌊
To bind it all together, I used classic book rings and dressed them up with wisps of ribbon in shades of ocean blue, stormy grey, and delicate lace — like waves, clouds, and sea foam dancing in the wind.
This mini album isn’t just a project; it’s a promise to future memories — and I can’t wait to start filling it with lighthouse journeys to come. 🐚💙
