Hello everybody! Laura here with you today to share some ideas for the NEW Chipboard/Acrylic Tags from Clear Scraps!
The first tag is the new Chipboard Scallop Tags. These come in a pack of 4 so you can really get creative! I covered these with patterned paper, layered paper strips, stickers, using foam tape to create dimension.
This front and back are a similar idea–but this is the Chipboard Rounded Tags set. The different shapes add a lot of interest, and it's great to use different ribbons for each tag too!
Next up–NEW acrylic tags too! The Acrylic Rounded Tags are really fun to play with! You could leave them clear and just use paper. You could stamp on them with a Staz-On type ink. Here I used alcohol inks.
This started by "pouncing" on the acrylic tag using a felt pad soaked with alcohol ink in blue.
With another felt pad, I layered in some fuchsia. I wanted something to "frame" the acrylic tags.
So I used a white paint marker that I ran around each edge to give it a little "extra" something.
Another of the scallop top tags–front and back!
And tag #5….
One of the tricks working with the acrylic tags–use the same "base" piece (note the paper across the middle) and work within that space so you have the same "look" on both sides. Since it's see through you need to keep that in mind. If you add an element like the tag piece I did along the top edge–make sure you do that on BOTH sides so nothing shows through.
The front of this tag has a little pocket created with the paper strip and a couple of cute tags are tucked inside for adding more pictures or journaling, or even ephemera like a ticket or small flyer.
A couple of cardstock framed mats are picture ready on this tag!
The best part–decorating a box and filling it up with the tags you've created! And if you decide you want more in it–just create a few more tags!
Thanks for stopping by today!
