Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi Y'all and thanks for stopping by today! Can you believe that it is already August! I am still in shock and wondering where the summer has gone!? Is it really about to be Fall!?
Misty @Mommyofkidz here with you sharing a new set of MemoryDex cards. 
In honor of the inevitable departure of summer and the impending arrival of Fall, I decided to do this project in a sunflower theme…the one flower that reminds me of BOTH seasons here in Texas. 

I decided to keep these semi simple, since I am not quite sure yet how I will be using them. 
I used two packs of dividers, for a total of 6.  The Regular Chip Dividers and the Vintage Chip Dividers were the perfect combination for me to get started with. There are SOOOO MANY option, though!!!  Go take a look! >>>HERE<<<

Since I knew that I wanted a country sunflower~lemon theme, I decided to match the junk journal that I did HERE. I am loving these patterns so much right now…I have been doing so many projects using sunflowers!  The black and white gingham is timeless.  One of my all time favorite patterns, and perfect for the Memory Dex cards to serve pretty much ANY purpose! 

For the back side of these Memory-Dex Cards,  I decided to lighten it up a little. Not so much of the black and a little more of the bright yellow was definitely the way to go! I did decide to add in some gingham ribbon, a few acrylic pieces and even a little mixed media, but for the most part, I did keep it simple. 

I have been toying around with the idea of redecorating my kitchen, so I suspect that these cards may turn into another accessory there. What do y'all think?? A quick access recipe card Memory-Dex kit to keep handy in my kitchen? Hmmmmmm maybe!
