🍂 Hey friends! Jennifer here, bringing you a cozy fall home décor project that captures one of my favorite pumpkin patch memories with my kids. This sweet piece features the new pumpkin and leaf chipboard embellishments, a square frame, and a charming wood "fall" word—all the perfect ingredients for a heartfelt autumn display.
To start, I traced the two base pieces and the square frame onto some fall-themed scrapbook paper I had tucked away, just waiting for their time to shine again. After cutting them out, I glued the papers onto the pieces and used an X-Acto knife to trim up the edges. A little inking around the sides added that perfect touch of rustic charm.
Next, I grabbed some metallic paint and brought the chipboard pumpkin, leaf, and “fall” word to life with a warm, shimmery finish. While those dried, I attached the top part of the square frame to the longer base piece using pop-up dots. Pro tip: only place the dots along the sides and bottom edges—this way, you can easily swap out your photo whenever you’d like.
To finish it all off, I glued the base pieces together, slid the frame into the back slot, and nestled the embellishments into their designated slits. A few delicate white flowers were the final touch, tying everything together with a soft, elegant flourish.
Now I’ve got a beautiful, changeable display that brings autumn warmth into my home and keeps those pumpkin patch memories close. 🍁
