🎃 Hello, crafty friends! It’s Jennifer here on the blog, and today I’m sharing a fun and festive home décor project that’s perfect for tiered trays—or even as adorable ornaments if you’re one of those folks who keeps a seasonal tree up all year long! (No judgment—I’m right there with you!) Shiplap ghosts

These little ghost shiplap pieces are just too cute to spook and incredibly versatile. And what better way to dress them up than with the charming new Ghostly Greetings collection from Graphic 45?

👻 Let’s get started!
First, I traced each ghost shape onto my patterned paper to create a base layer. For my version, I chose to cover the entire piece—so I didn’t cut around the individual shiplap lines. Once traced, I cut them out and adhered the paper directly to the wooden ghost using craft glue. To get crisp, clean edges, I carefully trimmed around the shape with my trusty X-Acto knife.

Next, I grabbed some black ink and gently distressed the edges for a little spooky depth.
🖤 From there, it was all about the details. I pulled out some coordinating die cuts from the Graphic 45 collection, added ribbon accents, and layered everything together. Before adhering any embellishments, I inked the edges of all my pieces—because, of course, it’s all in the details!

To finish it off with a bit of Halloween sparkle, I added Stickles to the flowers, spiders, and leaves—just a touch to give each ghost a magical glow.

These little guys turned out so charming and festive—I can’t wait to tuck them into my fall décor. Whether you’re crafting for a spooky tree or jazzing up a cozy nook, these ghostly cuties are sure to bring a smile.
Happy crafting, friends! ✂️🎃
