Clear Scraps Project Post

I enjoy A more Whimsical Halloween. 
This Clear_Scraps Mini_shiplap_Star is a fun way to add to your Decorations for Halloween.

It can easily be converted to a Hanging Ornament with some ribbon, twine, or whichever crafty way you may like to add for a hanging element.

Firstly I decided to cover it completely on both sides with Cardstock. Wet Glue works best for this project. 

I used a numbers stencil to add some background texture.

Clear_Scraps has a wide variety of stencils . I know you will find a perfect one for your next project. Run over and check them out!!

I glued and then used a crafting knife to cut around the Shiplap_Srar.

I repeated the gluing the cardstock on the other side.

I didn’t have a orange Texture paste so I grabbed a few mediums to see if I could come up with something.
I grabbed my whit modeling paste, antique gold paint and mini art stones.

I mixed them together to see what I could get.

I feel it was successful.
I am very happy with the rustic pumpkin color that is happening here.

Just a pop of color and texture makes me happy.

Now let’s add more elements to embellish this fun project.

I had tiny cut aparts from the paper collection to match.

I added this tiny envelope and a shabby bow and other teeny ephemera and sentiment.
