House Memory-Dex Box

Hello, friends! It's Nancy here with a new project share.
This time I have decorated the House Memory-Dex Box.
I wanted to keep my box very clean and simple, as it will be filled with cards.

Here is the finished box:

Here is how I made it:

I began by staining all the pieces white.

I then inked the Brick Wall Stencil around the inside edges of the house piece.
Then I stenciled the brick over the entire outside of the house piece.

For the grass, I combined two colors of stain.
This was added to the portion right under the fence, on the outside of each piece.

I repeated this step on the outside of the house piece.

I then grabbed a variety of pretty colors of acrylic paint, along with a stylus.
I added several dip dot flowers in all the "grass" areas.

All that was left was to assemble all the pieces and glue them in place.

It's very easy to put together and all the pieces fit perfectly.

Since I love to use Scripture verses on my memory-dex cards,
I decided to add a Scripture verse to my box.

I printed this verse out on my computer, die-cut it, and matted it with kraft cardstock.
I adhered this in place on the outside of the house.
Now I can add taller cards to my box, and they won't interfere with this verse.

Here is my finished box filled with several of my Clear Scraps memory-dex cards:

There are LOTS of great memory-dex items in the shop;
both cards, dividers, and boxes! You can find them all HERE.
