Clear Scraps–Creepy Cobweb Tag Box

Hi there all! Laura here with you today to share some Halloween inspiration!

This project starts with the Clear Scraps DIY Wood House Tag Box. This is such a fun little box! You could use it to create a table top mini album, or just use it as spooktacular decor too! I find it easier to paint the box FIRST, then assemble. This was painted with green acrylic paint, then while still a touch wet, brushed with black acrylic paint. It creates a cool old barn/house look! Once dry and assembled, it was time to decorate!

Patterned paper matted on black cardstock create the look on the front with the addition of dollar store skull decoration. It was sliced in half to add just the right 3-D effect. Stickers, enamel dots add some fun, and the Clear Scraps Vintage Frames Chipboard Embellishments add the perfect frame for the “Halloween” sentiment.

More cute stickers decorate the sides–using foam tape to add dimension.

And some inexpensive dollar store gauze adds a creepy cobweb look!

And can’t forget to do the back too, so you can display anywhere! More of the gauze and spooky, fun stickers!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration (and more info on the tags in the box coming in a few days!
