✨ Hello friends! It’s Jennifer here on the blog, sharing a few festive projects I created using some of my favorite stencils — the beautiful Snow Tree and a few sparkling Stars!
Let’s start with the mini cutting board project. I began by giving the board a coat of crisp white chalk paint. I love using chalk paint because it dries quickly and usually only needs one coat — perfect for impatient crafters like me!

Next, I mixed a bit of glossy gel medium with some rich gold paint to create a smooth, shimmery texture. Using my trusty spatula, I carefully spread the mixture over the stencil. A little tip: go gently when applying over a stencil — pressing too hard can cause it to lift and smudge (and believe me, I’ve made plenty of “happy accidents” learning that one!).

Before the gel mixture dried, I sprinkled on a touch of glitter for that extra sparkle. ✨ Once everything set, I added the finishing touches — a red and gold bow and a cheerful poinsettia — and just like that, my little holiday cutting board was complete!

I grabbed a few plain gift bags and decided to dress them up using the same beautiful snow tree stencil. I mixed a bit of green paint into my glossy gel, then gently spread it over the stencil with my spatula — careful and steady, like frosting a cake. Once the design was complete, I sprinkled a touch of glitter to give it that magical holiday sparkle.

On another bag, I went bolder — applying the gel and topping it off with deep green glitter for a rich, festive look.
Next came the stars! I mixed my gel with gold paint and shimmering gold flakes, then placed the star stencil on another gift bag. Using my spatula, I smoothed the golden paste across the design. When I lifted the stencil, the result was pure magic — and of course, I couldn’t resist adding a final dusting of glitter for that extra twinkle. ✨

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to dust off those stencils and create your own one-of-a-kind home décor or festive gift bags. Wishing you a joyful and creative holiday season! 🎄✨
