Can you believe that the holiday season is here once again? It’s Judy here with my latest project for Clear Scraps. I’m calling it a Warm & Cozy Holiday Card, but it’ll work for any winter occasion.
I am using Mittens with String Embellishments and Embellishments Chipboard Punchouts.
I start by creating my card base.
Cut a piece of card stock 5 1/2 x 11 inches. Score at 5 1/2 inches along the 11 inch side. Score, fold and burnish to form a top folding 5 1/2 inch square base.
Since i’m creating a winter card, I die cut a snowflake panel.
The die cut panel is adhered to the card base
Time to “dress up” the embellishments.
I chose to cover the mittens with a patterned paper and some glitter cardstock.
Trace the mitten shape onto the paper and card stock and cut out.
Paint the string on the mittens and the “Warm & Cozy” chipboard piece.
Adhere the patterned paper and card stock to the mittens’
Add the embellishments to the card. I backed the “Warm & Cozy” piece with a stitched circle die cut.
