Hello there all! Laura here with you today with some inspiration for a memory-dex home decor box that will be a great way to hold all those fall/thanksgiving memories!

This project starts with the Clear Scraps High DIY Wood Box from the Memory-Dex collection. Very easy to assemble and you can use any medium on the wood surface you’d like. I used a blue acrylic paint on this box, painting before I assembled, then once dry using a strong glue to put together. Next comes the fun part–decorating!
The sides of the box are almost a mirror of each other to keep it looking consistent.

The paper strip (about 1″ wide) that is inked and then a sentiment sticker and a few small stickers and enamel dots.

Some foam tape under some of the stickers adds a nice dimension too!
The back of the box was entirely covered with paper to create a basic background for all the layered in stickers. The 1″ strip of paper continues around this back part as well to act as an anchor to the sticker vignette.

A bit of a closer look at the front of the box, with more of the “thankful” sentiment stickers in the theme of the box.

These smaller sentiments and stickers add a lot of interest, without overwhelming the box and the cards inside. It is a perfect way to display photos from thanksgiving/fall that you can display year after year. It’s fun to go through the box and you can also add things like additional photos or journal cards with “thankful” statements as the years go by!
Thanks for stopping by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration!
