Notepad holder using Clear Scraps phone stand
While the phone stand is nice I thought it would be fun to try and use the stand for something different. I decided to try making a not pad holder.

For my project I used the following – Clear Scraps Regular Wood Phone Stand, acrylic paint (I chose blue to match my decor, choose a color that will go in your house), paint brush, flower rub-ons (or rub-ons that will match your decor), gold rub-ons, 3″ x 5″ note pad (I got mine at Dollar Tree in a pack of 3), and velcro stick on dots (you can also use the regular ones and apply it with a strong glue).
To begin paint the phone stand with the paint of your choice.

When completely dry, use your rub-ons to decorate the top. I chose a blue flower spray I had in my stash. After I added the flower spray I then went back in and added some gold script rub-ons in various places.

Now that you have your stand decorated we can add the notepad. Put your phone holder together. Take your velcro dot and add it to the back middle of the note pad. Press down firmly so it will stick. Add the other half of the velcro dot to the one on the back of notepad (the sticky side will be facing out). Rest the notepad on the shelf at the bottom but don’t let the top touch the phone stand yet. When you have the notepad centered side to side, slowly ease the pad up the phone stand until the other velcro dot is on the stand. Press down firmly so the sticky side attaches to the phone stand.

Your notepad holder is now complete and ready to add your notes to. When the pad is empty, Add another velcro dot to the back of the new pad and attach to the stand.

I hope you enjoyed seeing another way to use the phone stand. This is a great way to have a place for your notes handy at all times.
Have a great day!
Robbie
