Hi y’all, Misty @Mommyofkidz here with you today. and yes, I am addicted! I am addicted to making these gorgeous acrylic shaker tags …Not even joking!
Today I am sharing another one with you that I created.

This one uses the Mini Double Shaker Hearts with the #10 Acrylic Angle Tags. I used the 5×9 Plaids stencil to embellish the tag a bit.

I have made several of these fun tags already…the cowboy boot shaker tag, the ice cream cone, the wine glass and the flower pail. I have loved them all and I am so excited to share another with you! This one started out to be a typical Valentine’s Day tag. Hearts, flowers, etc. When I looked st the double hearts, though, I knew I wanted to do something different. Can you guess by the photo below?

You guessed it! I turned those double hearts into cherries! With a deep red paint and some red diamond dotz, I set to work. I painted the entire shaker inside and out with that red paint. When it was dry, I added the diamond dotz to be the shaker filler. Why DIamond Dotz? Well…because they shimmer and shine and are the perfect size for a shaker! I used my Cricut Maker to cut out some stems from green glitter paper and put it all together.

Painters’ tape and an acrylic paint marker were the only tools that I needed. I used them to paint the pattern onto the edges of the tag. There was a bit of bleed over, which I used a few Q-tips to clean up before it dried. As you can see below, once the pattern was finished, the tag was already awesome!

I already loved the look of the tag, so I knew that it was only going to get better! I selected a few of the prettiest ribbons from my stash. Once I added the “cherries” and the ribbon, it was perfection! And will still work as a Valentine Tag!!
