“Adventure With Alice” Mini Album

Today let’s make a fun Mini album with the super cute Journal books available in several sizes and shapes.

First I’m lining up my pieces and giving the a 1/4” between pieces.I use wet adhesive to glue them to the cardstock.

Then I will trim around the perimeter of the book.

Then I will do the same to the other side.

I will use a craft knife to cut what I need to for this project.

I trace around the book and cut 3 pieces to be my signatures “pages”.

I made a guide for where I want to score the pages and then glue them together.

I started with the widest one and then glued the next widest to the inside of the first page.

Center them as best as possible.

Finish with the narrow one in the center.

This is far from perfect but perfect for that shabby vintage look I love.

The guide we make can be made more than once and used to cut apart for the stencil to cut the shapes for the layers.

I used scissors to rough up the edges and then I inked around the edges to blend the pages better. The Brite Blue cardstock was Brighter then I wanted when I started putting it together.

I added some mushroom dies cut from my stash.

I used elemfrom the ephemera pack for this collection of papers.

I used my scissors to get the pages lined up before I add the matting layers and overall am really happy with how this came together.

I used my punch and added grommets and attach the ribbon to for the closure.
