Positive affirmation memory dex cards

Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Jennifer on the blog today sharing these super cute MemoryDex cards featuring positive and inspirational words.

Last year I created a MemoryDex box and started adding cards filled with positive words, affirmations, inspiring images, and feel-good reminders. Each year I slowly add three MemoryDex cards, decorating them front and back using a specific theme or paper line. These are my newest additions.

To begin, I chose the perfect paper and glued it onto the MemoryDex card. Once it was dry, I used my X-Acto knife to carefully trim the edges so they were smooth and clean. Then I used brown ink to ink around all the edges of each card to give them a soft, finished look.

Next, I decorated each MemoryDex card with images and words that I fussy cut from the paper line. I layered them onto the cards and added extra details like ribbon and textured paper to give each one a little more dimension and personality.

I really love this paper featuring the book, typewriter, and positive words. It reminds me that we each write our own story. Through mixed media, art, and scrapbooking, we get to tell those stories in our own creative way. I loved adding this paper to my collection.
