Hello crafty friends! Jennifer here today with this super cute 5 x 7 mini chipboard album. I absolutely love this beautiful fairy paper and the gorgeous colors throughout the collection.
I decorated each page with the perfect paper, using an X-Acto knife to carefully trim around the edges. After that, I inked all the edges with brown ink to give the album a soft, vintage look.

Throughout the album I created several interactive elements including pockets, photo mats, side pockets, and even a little pocket at the top of the last page. I also decorated each page with images and words that I fussy cut from the paper line, and added in ribbon and textured paper for extra dimension.

I even got brave and decided to use some glitter and sequins on a few of the pages! This is a new technique I’ve been trying on some of my projects lately, and I absolutely love the way it turned out.

To bring the album together, I used ribbon to tie it closed. You could also use book rings and decorate those as well—maybe even add a few charms for some extra sparkle.
I hope you’ve been inspired to create your own little fairy journal.
Happy spring and happy crafting!
If you’d like, I can also help you make a shorter caption version for Instagram or Facebook to promote the project. 🌸✨🧚♀️
