Romance is in the air!

Yesterday I felt like a shabby chic mood was coming up. I really wanted to create a romantic layout. I also challenged myself to get my ink, embossing plates and stickles. Yes, I wanted a mess on my table when I would finish this layout…:-)

I used a XL Deco Sheet as a base. I always tell you I love them, and I still do! With silver and white ink I dabbed around the border of the sheet. Behind the sheet I now could easily add some glue to add the lace border. ( which I punched out of paper ).

I love making my own flowers using the Big Shot machine we once received from Sizzix who sponsored the DT! I can't thank them enough for that amazing gift!

I used a Acrylic Sheet ( a must have! ) to punch out some flower shapes. Then I embossed them to create a nice texture on the flower leaves. I also added some ink and liquid applique to decorate them. Together with flower shapes which were punched out of paper you can create amazing flowers!

To keep the focus on the photos I used these amazing Clear-N-Chip Chloe Vintage Frames. They come in chipboard and in acrylic. I embossed the acrylic shapes and added silver ink.

Have a great day and keep stalking the Clear Scraps blog for much more inspiration!

Beautiful! I have this pack and I actually pulled out this page but I’m staring at it in abject fear- I really don’t want to mess it up. Great project.
