Doodling on Acrylic

With the right pen or marker in hand, the possibilies of what you can draw or doodle on acrylic is endless.  The key is, it has to be the RIGHT pen.  You don't want something that's not designed for non-porous surfaces because it will smear and wipe off.

Doodling on Acrylic is super-easy if you have the right tools.

  • Marvy Paint pens
  • Zig Painty pens
  • American Crafts Slick Writers
  • Souffle Pens
  • Sharpies

Try any of these….and feel free to leave more suggestions in your comments if you've tried something that you've tried and loved!

Here's one more layout from a few years ago that I doodled on.  I used my Slick Writer and a template from Crafter's Workshop.

Warmth LO no white

Thanks for stopping by!

@ Desiree: Just let the Souffle pens dry awhile. Other pens like Sharpies and Slick Writers are nearly dry instantly! For a fun project….do all your design with a permanent pen and then use a Dry Erase marker for temporary playing around 🙂
