Hi everyone! Wendy here and today I'm sharing a project using the new Clear Scraps Mini Word Recipe Album and Acrylic Recipe Stand.
Supplies Used: Clear Scraps (Mini Word Recipe Album, Acrylic Recipe Stand), Stampendous (Cowlik Birthday, From the Kitchen), American Craft pattern paper, Tsukineko (Memento Ink, Goosebumps spray), Copics, Beacon (Zip Dry, Fast Finish), 2 inch office rings
I love the effect of Tsukineko's Goosebump spray on Clear Scraps acrylic. It gives a subtle texture similiar to textured water glass. For the cover of the recipe book, I kept the design simple, by spraying the acrylic word "recipe" with Goosebumps on the front and back. I stamped out "from the kitchen of" three times. I adhered the circular stamped image behind the acrylic word with Zip Dry. Next to the front I adhered the silverware image. And finally, I trimmed the banner image, ran it through my printer to add my name and adhered it over the silverware image.
Next I pulled out all my food themed stamps and printed out my favorite recipes. When I had all my backgrounds stamped and colored, I cut them down to size to fit the chipboard pieces. I painted the chipboard with red acrylic paint and adhered the stamped paper with Fast Finish. To protect my recipes from sticky fingers while baking, I covered them in contact paper. You can also run them through a laminator if you wish. The last thing to do was to assemble the album. Punch holes in your chipboard, acrylic stand, recipes, chipboard and acrylic dividers. Thread all the pieces onto 2 inch office rings.

I have had recipes scribbled on scraps of paper for years now just waiting to be compiled into a book. I love having all my favorite recipes organized into this fun recipe stand!
