Hi everyone. Tonya here today to share with you what I did with one of the large acrylic frames. I was sent the XL Rectangle Deco Top Frame Set. As soon as I saw it I knew immediately that I wanted to make it into a chalkboard for my kitchen wall.
I started by masking off the area that I wanted to be the chalkboard and spraypainted it with several coats of chalkboard paint. Once that was all dry I removed the masking tape and painted the rest of the chipboard area with gold metallic paint.
Next I outlined the edges of the acrylic with a gold metallic paint pen. The black images were then stamped on to the back of the acrylic using StazOn ink. Lastly I added some gunmetal jewels to the front of the frame.
Super easy, the most time consuming part was waiting for the paint to completely dry between coats.
