Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with a Mother’s day card featuring Chipboard Embellishments from Clear Scraps. Today, I am using the Fancy Butterflies Chipboard Embellishments.

Supplies Used:
Clear Scraps: Fancy Butterflies Chipboard Embellishment
sVersaMark Ink Pad & Marker
VersaFine Ink: Onyx Black
Distress Oxide Inks: Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac, & Forest Moss
Brutus Monroe Embossing Powders: Gilded, Autumn Leaves, & Cantaloupe
Sparkle N Sprinkle Embossing Powder: Buttercup Petal
Imagine Crafts: Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray Gold
Pajama Crafter Stamp: Lovely Bouquet Stamp(sentiment only
)100lb Cardstock: White, Lilac, Light Green & Dark Green
Altenew Layering Dies: Lilac Flower
Bearly Art Glue, & Tiny Foam Tabs
Tools: Heat Tool, & Die-cutting Machine

Step. 1: I start my trimming down a panel of white cardstock.to 4-1/4″ X 6-1/4″. I then apply some Distress ink in Tumbled Glass onto the panel.

Next, I splatter some Imagine Crafts Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray in gold onto the panel.

Set it a side to dry.

Step. 2: I trimmed the Fancy Butterflies Chipboard Embellishments from the frame it comes on. I save it for later. Next, I apply some VersaMark ink onto the Fancy Butterflies Chipboard Embellishments. I used the marker instead of the pad for my butter because I wanted two colors on the butterfly and this would give me better control.

Then, I covered the Fancy Butterflies Chipboard Embellishments with the Autumn Leaves embossing powder and then heat set it.

I repeated the process but this time I used the Cantaloupe and Buttercup Petal embossing powders. Heat set all the powders and set the butterfly a side.

Step. 3: I used VersaMark Ink on the frame that the Fancy Butterflies Chipboard Embellishments come on. I cover with Gold embossing powder and heat set it.

Step. 4: I die cut several lilac flowers and leaves from Lilac cardstock and two shaded of Green cardstock. I place them onto an photopolymer mat. I then use some Distress Oxide ink in Shaded Lilac for the center of the flowers and a bit of Forest Moss on the leaves for a bit of dimension.

step. 5: It’s time to assemble the card. I start by stamping my sentiment onto the inked background panel with some VersaFine Ink.

Next, I adhere the Frame and Butterfly to the panel.

Then, the flowers and leaves to the corners. Popping up a few flowers. For a finishing touch I add a few tiny gems in gold to the center of the flowers and around the panel. I adhere the panel to the card base.

The card is complete!
